Covering the Courts 2022 is here — your chance for face time with judges, clerks and other court staff, via Webex

The Committee on the Judiciary and the Media is pleased to invite you to attend the first remote session of Covering the Courts. The committee, which was established by the New Hampshire Supreme Court in November 2002, is committed to improving communication between the court system and the media.

Covering the Courts, which was developed by a subcommittee of the Committee on the Judiciary and the Media, is a series of tutorials for new reporters and other media outlets who cover news in the court system.

In response to your requests on our survey last Spring for a more accessible format, we are holding these seminars remotely via Webex.

The first session, which will provide an overview of the court system and how to cover hearings in the courtroom, is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, at 12:00 p.m. You can register by clicking on the RSVP link below or via email here. The New Hampshire Judicial Branch appreciates the dedication of the New Hampshire media outlets and supports the crucial role they perform in communicating the work of the court system. We hope you can attend.
